CONTECH is not a newcomer to the metal-forming industry. A brief look back in history tells two stories, one of Aluminum Die Casting and one of Cold Steel Forging. With the combination of these 2 businesses in 1999, the synergies of over 200 years of combined metal-forming experience were realized.

CONTECH (Aluminum / Magnesium Die Casting) was established in the early 1950’s by a group of entrepreneurs located in Dowagiac, Michigan. From this one small plant, CONTECH has organically grown into seven focused facilities located through out the American mid west and Wales, UK. Through the years, our customers have known us by several different names, Consolidated Die Cast, Sealed Power, CONTECH, but one driving principle has never changed: CONTECH provides World-Class Quality through Engineering Innovation.
